Washington, D.C. - Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released a statement regarding the FCC's unanimous vote to block U.S. wireless carriers from using federal subsidies to buy equipment or services from telecom firms deemed national-security risks:

"I commend Chairman Pai for acting on the concerns I and others have raised about the threat Huawei and other foreign telecom firms pose to our communications networks. The FCC's unanimous vote today is a strong statement of bipartisan agreement on a vital issue of national security."
