Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the anniversary of 9/11:
"September 11 is the day we'll never forget. The shock, the pain, the outrage are all still fresh in our minds, and we still mourn the Americans we lost that day. But we also remember the bravery of our first responders, as well as all those who have given their lives in defense of our country since then. Our enemies tried to break us that day, but we stood firm. We came together in a stirring show of unity. And so on this solemn anniversary, let us remember all those who sacrifice so much to keep us safe and, out of love for our country, renew the spirit of 9/11."
