Cotton Statement on Rocket Attack on Iraqi Military Base

Washington, D.C. — Following reports of a rocket attack that killed an American citizen and injured four American troops at a military base in Kirkuk, Iraq, Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement:

“If American blood was shed by an Iran-backed group, Tehran ought to face swift and severe consequences.”
