Cotton Statement on Rioting Before Chauvin Verdict
Washington, D.C. — Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement regarding the pending verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin:
“No matter the verdict, there is no justification for mob violence. Any mob violence should be put down immediately.”
