Cotton Statement on Pete Buttigieg Confirmation

Washington, D.C. — Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement on the confirmation vote for Pete Buttigieg to be U.S. Secretary of Transportation:

“Pete Buttigieg supports policies that will cost American jobs, including the Green New Deal and cancelling the Keystone Pipeline. Arkansas deserves a Transportation Secretary who supports projects that create jobs rather than destroying them.”
