"I fully support Mark Esper's nomination as Army Secretary. He began his career by serving on the front lines and has distinguished himself in a variety of roles. It's not too much to say that protecting this country has been his life's work. He has a hard-won understanding of the national-security threats facing our country-and a deep respect for our men and women in uniform.
