Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the Senate's approval of Hurricane Harvey relief funding:
"Hundreds of thousands of our fellow Americans have just endured one of the biggest storms in our history. This package will provide them immediate relief, so they can begin to rebuild their communities. It will also give FEMA and the state of Texas the funding they need to pay the Arkansas national guardsmen who are supporting relief efforts there. The people of Texas and Louisiana need our help right now, and this package will start them on the long road to recovery."
