President-elect Trump made an outstanding choice when he asked General Kelly to be Secretary of Homeland Security and I'm grateful General Kelly again answered the call of duty. Once confirmed, he will play a vital role in protecting our country against terrorism, drug and gang violence, and uncontrolled immigration. I look forward to supporting his nomination, and I thank him and his wife Karen again for their decades of service and sacrifices for our beloved country."
