Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement congratulating the Russellville High School Band after they were selected to perform at the presidential inauguration parade on January 20, 2017 in Washington, D.C.:
"Congratulations to the Russellville High School Band on their selection to perform in President-elect Donald Trump's inaugural parade this January. The inaugurations of our presidents represent democracy at its best and I'm so proud that Russellville High School will be there to represent Arkansas on the international stage. Their selection is no doubt a reflection of countless hours of practice and hard work on behalf of band members and the band director, Dewayne Dove. I know they will make Arkansas proud and I look forward to watching the Russellville High School Band perform in Washington next month."
