Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the Central Intelligence Agency's 70th anniversary:
"For 70 years, the men and women of the Central Intelligence Agency have put themselves in harm's way to protect our country and our way of life. Elected officials depend on the intelligence they gather and the analysis they perform. Very often their work is what stops a possible threat from growing into an imminent danger, and for that we all should be grateful. So on this anniversary, I want to thank the men and women of the CIA for all they do to keep us safe. They are true patriots, and we as a nation are in their debt."
