WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement on Vice President Pence's commencement address at Notre Dame on Sunday:
"It is especially unfortunate that students walked out of the vice president's speech on Sunday-because if any young people needed to hear how important freedom of speech is to our country, it would be them. I think the vice president deserves credit for speaking out on the spread of intolerance on college campuses-and I know he deserved better treatment than what he received this weekend."
