Washington, D.C. - Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement in reaction to the Senate Intelligence Committee Press Conference:

"What today's press conference shows is that members of both parties are working together on the Senate Intelligence Committee to figure out what happened and why. We are putting aside pre-conceived notions and letting the facts lead us where they may. What we find will determine how we respond, so we need to take our time as we complete this investigation. We need to make sure our analysis and conclusions are airtight before we can take action. I want to thank all our national-security officials for the extraordinary access they've given us. Although we must handle such sensitive intelligence with care, we will make all of our findings open to the public. This investigation goes beyond a few leaked emails; it will bear directly on our strategy for pushing back against Russian aggression in all its forms. That's why we need to get it right, and I'm confident under Chairman Burr's leadership, we will."
