Washington, D.C.- Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday November 24:

"Happy Thanksgiving from the Cotton family. This year, I'm thankful for my wonderful family-especially my wife Anna and our son, Gabriel, and the baby boy we will welcome next month. And I'm thankful for each of you, who keep me in your prayers and support me as I work on behalf of Arkansans.

"From the earliest days of our nation, Americans have set aside a day for public thanksgiving. This tradition is a part of who we are as a people. While we face many challenges in our lives and our life as a nation, we ought not let these challenges blind us to the many more blessings we have in our lives as individuals and as one people.

"These blessings include our troops, diplomats, and intelligence officers who are once again spending this holiday far from home as they work to make America safer and stronger. We're lucky to have these men and women on our side and we should remember them in our prayers of thanksgiving today and every day."
