Cotton Congratulates Arkansas Members of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team

Washington, D.C. - Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement congratulating the six Arkansans who will be part of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team competing in the Olympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil next month:

"I am so proud of the six Arkansans who will represent the United States during the Olympic games next month. Qualifying for the Olympics takes years of dedication, hard-work, and sacrifice, not only by the athlete, but also by their families who have supported them. I join all Arkansans in congratulating these young men and women, and wish them the best of luck in Brazil. I look forward to watching them complete on behalf of Arkansas, and the United States. I know they will make us proud!"

Background: This week the United States Olympic Committee announced that six Arkansans will be part of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil next month. A complete list of competitors is included below.
