Washington, D.C.- Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the Supreme Court's order in Zubik v. Burwell:
"Today's Supreme Court order instructs the Obama administration to do what it should have done in the first place: give due respect to the sincere beliefs of the Little Sisters of the Poor and other people of faith. In the rush to impose Obamacare on the nation, the president trampled on fundamental religious rights and basic decency for Americans who hold to traditional beliefs and dare to stray from liberal orthodoxy on abortion and contraception. The Supreme Court today gave him an opportunity to right that wrong, and I urge him to take advantage of it."
