Washington, D.C.- Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) arrived Tuesday in Taipei for the second leg of his East Asia tour. While in Taiwan, Senator Cotton will meet with President Ma Ying-jeou and other senior Taiwanese officials to discuss security cooperation, bilateral and regional trade relations, and shared democratic values. He will also spend time with Tsai Ing-wen, a candidate in Taiwan's upcoming presidential election. Finally, Senator Cotton will visit the international sales office of Tyson Foods in Taipei where he will learn more about the company's global operations. Tyson Foods is headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas and is the second largest poultry, beef, and pork processor in the world.
