Cotton, Boozman and Hill Announce Grant for a New Nursing Home Facility in Little Rock

August 26, 2015
Washington, D.C.— U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton along with Congressman French Hill today announced a $15.6 million grant for the construction of a new nursing home facility in Little Rock, Arkansas.

"This grant will help construct a new, state-of-the-art facility for our aging veterans," said Senator Cotton. "Our men and women in uniform put their lives on the line in defense of our freedom. They deserve the very best care, no matter their stage in life."

"Ensuring that Arkansas veterans receive the care they have earned is an important investment in our state. I remain committed to making sure our nation keeps its promise to our veterans for their service and sacrifice," Senator Boozman said.

"Central Arkansas is home to many aging veterans that need constant and specialized care. I encourage the completion of this project in a quick and efficient manner so we can improve our ability to provide our veterans with the healthcare services they need and deserve." said Congressman Hill.

The $15,629,941.60 grant is from the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ground breaking for the new facility located in North Little Rock took place last month.
