Washington, D.C.- Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the Fifth Circuit's rejection of President Obama's executive action on immigration:

"Throughout his presidency, President Obama has displayed a stunning disregard for our Constitution. He often seems to think the rules-or our laws-don't apply to him. But the Fifth Circuit's decision to reject his executive action on immigration is yet another confirmation of the lawlessness at the foundation of President Obama's ‘legacy-making' initiatives. And it reminds him he needs to respect our Constitution and the wishes of the American people. As this case continues to make its way through the legal process, I am confident this decision will be upheld. I will continue to work to stop amnesty for illegal immigrants and to protect Arkansans from President Obama's harmful policies."
