Washington, D.C. - Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today sent a letter to USDA-NRCS State Conservationist Michael Sullivan in support of Arkansas's application for the Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program. This pilot program would allow feral swine eradication activities from 2019 through 2023. There are four project areas in Arkansas that have been deemed eligible for potential funding. The letter reads in part:

"I fully support the selection and approval of our Arkansas pilot projects. These efforts will be essential to protect the environment of our state, mitigate the very serious economic impact of this problem, and enhance the sustainability of our agricultural industry."
